eTip California Privacy Notice (CCPA / CPRA)
ETIP INC. (“ETIP,” “eTip,” “Company,” “We,” “Our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy, if applicable.
This Notice supplements the eTip Privacy Policy and applies only to California residents. It explains what Personal Information (including Sensitive Personal Information) we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights California residents have under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in our main Privacy Policy unless noted otherwise.

*We will delete or anonymize data sooner if we no longer have a legal or business need. Some information we may need to keep longer to comply with legal obligations, recordkeeping laws, or other laws to which we are subject, in which case data is retained consistent with the applicable law(s) See “Data Retention” in our main Privacy Policy for the criteria we apply.
When retention is no longer required, we securely destroy or de-identify personal information in accordance with Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.81 and industry standards.
2. How We Use Sensitive Personal Information
We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes beyond those permitted by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121(a). If we ever need to use it for additional purposes, you will receive a clear right to “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information.”
3. Disclosures, “Sales,” and “Sharing”
In the past 12 months we disclosed the categories above for the purposes noted to the recipients listed.
We do not “sell” Personal Information for monetary value or “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in the CPRA. If this changes, we will (1) post an updated Notice, and (2) add a conspicuous “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
4. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Request we disclose to you free of charge the following information covering the 12 months preceding your request: (a) the categories of Personal Information about you that we collected; (b) the categories of sources from which the Personal
- Information was collected; (c) the purpose for collecting Personal Information about you; (d) the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed Personal Information about you and the categories of Personal Information that was disclosed (if applicable) and the purpose for disclosing the Personal Information about you; and (e) the specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you;
- Request we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
- Request we delete Personal Information we collected from you, unless the CCPA recognizes an exception;
- Request we restrict use/disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information if we process it beyond exempt purposes;
- Receive your Personal Information in a readily usable format;
- If the business shares or sells Personal Information, as defined by the CCPA and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), you have a right to opt-out of that sale or sharing.
Consistent with California law, if you choose to exercise your applicable CCPA rights, we won’t charge you different prices or provide you a different quality of services. If we ever offer a financial incentive or product enhancement that is contingent upon you providing your Personal Information, we will not do so unless the benefits to you are reasonably related to the value of the Personal Information that you provide to us.
5. How to Exercise Your Rights
If you are a California resident and wish to exercise your rights under the CCPA, please contact us at contact@etip.io.
You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf; we will verify both you and your agent before fulfilling a request. We respond within 45 days (90 days if reasonably necessary).
6. California Minors
We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share Personal Information of consumers under 16. If that were to change, we would first obtain affirmative authorization (“opt-in”) from the minor (ages 13–16) or the minor’s parent (under 13).
7. Changes to This Policy
eTip may change this Policy from time to time. If we make any changes to this Policy, we will change the "Last Updated" date below and may notify you by a pop up or email (sent to the e mail address specified in your account). We encourage you to review this Policy whenever you visit the Services to understand how your Personal Information is used.
