No, you can tip by scanning one of the unique eTip QR codes using your default barcode scanner app on your phone. However, you won't get access to our full range of features without the app.

Tipping on an iPhone

  1. Open your iPhone Camera
  2. Scan the QR code
  3. Select tip amount and rating

Tipping on an Android

Old Models

Tipping with Text

  2. Open the received link
  3. Select tip amount and rating

You can change your Facebook login name by going to settings page.

You can change your profile picture by going to settings page within the app.

There are no fees for tipping.

You can deactivate your eTip account choosing deactivation on the settings page. In addition, you can deactivate by emailing at [email protected] with your reason for deactivation.

You can access proof of your transaction by going to tip history page within the app.

Yes! You can tip using Apple/Google Pay.

We protect your information through state-of-the-art Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Please see the Privacy Policy for more information.

An employee can only see your name and profile picture through the app, and only if you tipped them.

No, you can tip without downloading the app. However, by creating an account you’ll be entitled to receive new product features such as points to redeem at your favorite stores. In addition, you will be able to track your transactions easily, and export to your expense reports.
